What

Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (or just abbreviated as FIB) is a annual festival that always starts on the second Monday of July, although the music officially begins on Thursday afternoon. The festival has the reputation of being one of the best international festivals! With a beautiful location nearby the beach, a very nice timetable (the bands just play later in the day, from 5 pm till 8 am) and a festival capacity around 50.000 people, it is a real must-see. Besides that, it’s attracting a young, party-oriented crowd. So, you’ll find lots of fun and party people!

When

FIB always starts on the second Monday of July, although the music will officially start on Thursday afternoon. In 2019, the festival will take place 18, 19, 20 and 21 July in Benicàssim.

How to get there

The festival will take place close to Valencia, so you don’t have to travel for hours… A train station is located in Benicàssim, so traveling by train from Valencia is the cheapest, fastest and most easy way to get to the festival.

By train

Traveling by train will take around 1 or 1,5 hour. The prices will vary from €8,00 to €25,00. For more information, availability and actual prices, you can take a look at the page of Renfe.

By car

By car you’ll be in Benicàssim within an hour. Follow the highway (V-21) to Castellón. From Castellón you’ll see signs to Benicàssim. ¡Idea! Try to come with someone via BlaBlaCar. Do you have an own car? Use a navigation system, because the signs wouldn’t be very clearly when you leave Valencia.
