Shopping centres

Valencia is full of great shops. Carrer de Colon is the longest shopping street with a lot of shops. But how nice is it to have all the shops together at one place? Luckily there are also some shopping centres in Valencia, ‘centro comerciales’, where you can enjoy some very efficient shopping! Find out where these shopping centres in Valencia are located.

El Saler

Near the well known Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, you’ll find the enormous shopping mall El Saler. This advanced building really has a lot to offer. El Saler is full of well known shops, such as Bershka, Desigual, Mango and Massimo Dutti, but you’ll also find a lot of unfamiliar shops. If you’re out of shopping inspiration, you can even get your own personal shopper in El Saler!

This centre is also popular because of its many restaurants and bars. A well attended bar is La Surena, where you can enjoy tapas. The shopping centre is full of people that want to have lunch or dinner. If you feel like doing something else than visiting shops, you can always go to the cinema ABC or take your kids to the kids club Infantil, which you can visit for free.

You can park your car for free in the weekends and on weekdays: it’s free from 14:00. If you grab a taxi at Plaza Ayuntamiento, it’s about ten minutes until you arrive at the shopping mall El Saler and this will cost you around €6,00. Buses that stop nearby El Saler are 35 and 95 (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias), 13 and 14 (Carrer de l’Escriptor Rafael Ferreres) and 15 (Autopista del Saler).

This is more than a shopping centre where you can shop and have a bite to eat. On the top floor you’ll find the Ocine cinema. There’s also a beautiful spa and a bowling centre. Are you with kids? Visit the Lego Fun Factory, a space to play with the newest Lego toys and stones, which is open every day. You’ll also find a gym on the top floor.
